With movement restrictions around COVID-19 being lifted in the UAE, as well as the Government’s decision to welcome tourists from July 7, many airlines have resumed international flights to certain destinations.
British Airways has announced it will resume passenger flights between Dubai and London Heathrow this July, with additional flights to be added from August.
Dubai’s Emirates Airline has also announced seven more destinations will be added to its list of passenger flights, expanding its network to 48 cities this July including London Heathrow, Glasgow and Manchester.
Etihad Airways as well recently announced it will resume flights to 29 destinations as from July 1 including 13 European cities. Working closely with the UAE government and Global Aviation Authorities, the Abu Dhabi-based carrier plans further increase to its network of destinations from July 16.
However, visitors entering Dubai will need to present a recent COVID-19 negative certificate (issued a maximum of four days prior to departure), or undergo testing at Dubai airports on arrival.
This means that things are slowly going back to some kind of normality and the pace that has been slowed down for some businesses around the country for the last few months is expected to start picking up again.
