DIFC Introduces New License and Cuts Fees to Attract New Business

Dubai International Finance Centre is introducing new licensing categories and fees to make establishing business within the DIFC easier and more affordable, to attract more business.

The new categories include short-term and restricted licenses, commercial permissions and dual licenses.
Each new category comes with reduced license fees and more flexibility to attract more firms into conducting business within DIFC. The news comes as a response to market needs.
Short-term fees will include a 100 USD registration fee and license fees ranging from 300 to 5100 USD depending on duration.

Restricted License will be available for firms interested in developing or testing innovative products and services in DIFC. Registration fee of 100 USD and annual license fees ranging from 1000 – 4000 USD.
Commercial permissions will allow both DIFC and non-DIFC companies, including events companies, retail outlets, training providers and educational services, to conduct their main business activities at DIFC with fees ranging from 100 to 2000 USD.

Dual licensing will allow DED licensed non-financial and non-retail firms with affiliates in DIFC to work in the centre. This includes law firms, audit firms, consultancy firms, family business, holding companies and corporate service providers. Annual fee of 1000 USD.
