BCB April 2020: don’t mention the C word

08 Apr, 2020

Good Afternoon

It would be glib and patently incorrect to proclaim that it’s business as usual in the UAE, however in our role promoting business, exports & investment between the UK & UAE, we will always accentuate the positive.

In the last week, we have posted 16 new export opportunities for UK companies to supply into in the UAE covering procurement in the food & drink, healthcare, & construction sectors.

We’re also pleased to shine a light on our incubator client Firefly Learning, whose EdTech services are seeing unprecedented demand due to the current situation.

Within the retail sector, we feature positive regulatory steps in the food & drink industry that reduce costs & complexity in the supply chain; a new online platform for the local SME community is also featured, along with a view on the complexities of delivering a bailout in a country like the UAE.

We always welcome your feedback and engagement and now, more than ever, very much hope we can help your business in the UAE and beyond.

Regards

Joe
