With the end of the year approaching, it’s a good time to update you on the BCB’s news and progress in recent months.
The BCB now has eight clients underway in Dubai and a further four who are in the process of applying, so the initiative is proving to be very popular and we expect this to endure into 2015 as the UAE economy continues to go from strength-to-strength, attracting more businesses to participate in this exciting growth story.
One of the key things that the BCB offers is a platform for our clients to amplify their PR and marketing message from. Very recently, one of our first clients, Cobweb Solutions, was featured in a Dubai Government press release that was picked up by the local English & Arabic press around the UAE. Apart from providing excellent exposure for the BCB’s companies, this also highlights the strong partnership we have with the local authorities in Dubai who are keen to publicise their support for the scheme and our clients. We are also pleased to feature our clients on our blog pages and via our Twitter account to further spread their news and raise their profile in the region.
This being the trade show season in the UAE, there are masses of UK companies visiting the country at the moment. We have met with 150 in the last two months alone! Trade shows and exhibitions are an excellent way for British companies new to the UAE to meet potential partners, suppliers, agents & customers in the region and really maximise their visit. I have written a couple of blogs on the subject (link 1 & link 2) in recent weeks which I hope are useful.
We have been adding to the services & offers provided to our clients by the BCB’s partners in Dubai. These now range from discounted airfares, to preferential rates on corporate & medical insurance, serviced office space, document attestation services and hotels. We will continue to build on this list according to client demand.
As ever, we’d love to hear back from you with an update on your company’s UAE plans and how the BCB can help. Of course, if this is no longer relevant please also let us know so we can take you off the list too.
Wishing you a very Happy Christmas.
