The first quarter of every year in the UAE is flat out, and 2019 is no exception.
Two of the biggest trade shows in the world take place in Dubai with Arab Health at the end of January and Gulfood happening next week. Over the course of both events, we’ll have supported seven official delegations and helped set-up B2B meetings in the hundreds. We’re also looking forward to next week’s GTR MENA event.
Activity around Expo 2020 continues to grow with the procurement calendar for 2019 being particularly interesting in the services & tech sectors. Tech interest & involvement from the UK is growing by the day, and we were proud to host the first ‘UK Tech Forum’ in the UAE recently, in partnership with DIT.
To manage all of this we’ve just taken on our latest recruit, James, who is already working on a Fintech mission, managing healthcare enquiries from Arab Health and helping an electric vehicles manufacturer set up here.
