BCB July: it’s summertime, but not as we know it

27 Jul, 2020

Good Morning

Normally our July updates are more like a holding operation pending busier times ahead in the autumn and the customary return to work.

This year, however, it’s very different.

As the UAE remerges from its CV19-induced slowdown, there’s more happening this summer than I’ve seen in the 12 years I’ve been here.

Perhaps it’s a result of fewer residents travelling overseas, but there’s certainly a feel of making up for lost time. In June, the UAE’s Purchasing Manager’s Index registered growth again and we’re busy at the BCB working on client requests in food & drink, technology and healthcare.

Looking ahead, we’re pleased to be cooperating with Dubai FDI on a series of webinars in September & October for UK companies considering expansion in the region. We’ll share specific details & joining instructions shortly.

As ever, let us know if we can help with your Middle East plans.

Regards
Joe
