BCB June 2018: Exporting to Expo

27 Jun, 2018 - BCB

Good Morning

Only 847 days to go!

Expo 2020 Dubai opens on 20th October 2020 and the drive for British export involvement to supply into the project continues.

Over the course of the next year procurement spends will necessarily move from CAPEX-based projects to OPEX-led activities; with the infrastructure being built, the focus will be on running and managing the event itself, and of course the subsequent legacy.

We outline below some of the developments you should be aware of in this regard in terms of accessing Expo as a direct supplier and the coming Online Marketplace which will act as a conduit with the wider UAE-based Expo supply chain.

We’re also launching our own special Expo-related offer for the BCB’s incubator to benefit British firms who are coming in to deliver for the project and require a local corporate presence in order to do so.

Now is the time to get involved. There’s only 1,219,680 minutes left….

Regards

Joe
