The BCB partners with UAE-UK Business Council

23 May, 2021

It is with great pleasure to announce our new partnership with the UAE-UK Business Council.

As an organisation that provides market-entry incubator and export support services to UK companies, and with a proven track record in export wins for UK companies in the UAE, the BCB is well positioned to offer members of the UAE-UK Business Council a host of benefits in terms of trade and investment support.

The partnership will provide members and clients with access to government and business networks within the UAE and the UK, as well as increased visibility, awareness and promotion across both countries at an exciting time for both countries.

“In a way this is going back to our roots” commented Joe Hepworth, Founder of the British Centres for Business, “When the BCB started in 2013, it was as a result of the UAE-UK Business Council’s efforts to develop a tangible support network for SMEs, so we have lots of shared DNA.

“Fast forward to 2021 and we’ve helped more than 500 UK companies generate more than GBP 100m of export wins in the UAE. Looking ahead, with an exciting line up of projects, such as promoting District 2020 to the UK tech sector, there’s masses for us to work on together in the years to come.”

Bradley Jones, Executive Director of the UAE-UK Business Council, said “As the UAE continues to diversify its economy and invest in skills and innovation, exciting new opportunities are emerging for UK companies, both large and small, and we are delighted to partner with the British Centres for Business in helping them improve their understanding of the market and achieve success.”
