BCB September: Trade shows, District 2020 & Health

01 Oct, 2019

Good Morning

With the Hotel Show and Cityscape exhibitions already having taken place and the region’s biggest technology event, GITEX, happening next week, the UAE’s trade show season is well underway again. See here for an outline of the main events through to spring next year.

For newcomers to the Middle East, these shows often offer the best route to become acquainted with the region by getting a feel for market, competitor & buyer activities and local industry trends & drivers. If you need help setting up a programme around your intended visit, please let us know.

Next year does of course see the biggest show of them all: Expo 2020 Dubai. And whilst Expo opens its doors to an estimated 25 million visitors in a little over a year from now, focus is already turning to what happens beyond that once Expo has finished in mid-2021 and ensuring that a quality & viable legacy endures. At the heart of this lies District 2020 and we share some of the impressive plans for this project with you here.

And finally, we bring you up to date with some of the recent developments in Abu Dhabi’s healthcare strategy (see here).

Regards
Joe
