BCB’s February Newsletter: the future has arrived

23 Feb, 2022

Good Morning

22/02/2022 seems to have been a serendipitous day around the world. The Times reports that almost 5,000 couples tied the knot yesterday in Beijing, China – ten times the usual count.

In the UAE, the big happening on this palindromic date was the opening of the long-awaited Museum of the Future.

I’d imagine that any visitor to Dubai over the last few years has seen this striking building being finished on Sheikh Zayed Road, next to the Trade Center.

It’s already being called ‘the world’s most beautiful building’. Expect this to join the likes of the Burj Khalifa, Grand Mosque and Burj Al Arab as a signature landmark of the country.

Aesthetics apart, the museum is another very obvious manifestation of the UAE’s embrace of the future and that it wants to be at the forefront of shaping it.

From a business perspective, this means that the UAE continues to look for companies that are bringing skills, new technologies and innovative approaches to help the country’s advance.

If this is you, let us know and we’d love to help you on your journey.

Regards
Joe
