This morning I moderated an event which looked at the British business network throughout the GCC. Hosted by the British Business Group Dubai and Northern Emirates, I was joined by colleagues from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Kuwait, and we discussed everything from legislation to ease of doing business.
However, the point of this article is to express the network itself. As we’ve discussed many times on this blog, the ‘network’ is very important to conducting business in the UAE. It would be very unusual for a small to medium sized company to succeed without understanding this basic of GCC business culture.
Whilst the BCB in the UAE and its regional counterparts do not follow the same structure, the CEOs of all are in constant contact, and this is invaluable for companies using the BCB’s incubation centre.
