Our First Dubai Trade License

04 Sep, 2014 - Consumer & Retail

Last week the first Dubai trade licence was issued to a BCB client company.

Mary Gober International (MGI) helps organisations actively and rapidly improve performance.  With bases in the UK, Australia, the Middle East and the United States, it works with clients around the world to deliver tailored solutions inspired by the work of Mary Gober.

I was very honoured to present Mary Margot Walter (MGI’s Dubai GM) with her license (below) as not only does it mark the crossing of a threshold for the BCB, but it also signifies the placing of the final piece of the puzzle for UK- UAE business relations.  The global OBNI network has been established to support UK companies developing overseas and, in the UAE at least, this takes the form of a unique, practical market-entry model.

We’ll be introducing MGI  fully in a future blog article. But for now, and on behalf of the BCB, UKTI, The British Chambers of Commerce, The Dubai Department of Economic Development, and the Knowledge and Human Development Authority, I wish MGI the greatest possible success.
