BCB April 2019: Ramadan and regional tech events

Good Morning

The Muslim holy month of Ramadan starts this year around 5th May so this month’s update is a good opportunity to advise companies new to the region on what happens from a business perspective and also remind the veterans  about how things change for that period.  We hope this is useful.

Ahead of that, we are hosting the second UK Tech Forum event at our office in Dubai on April 28th, in conjunction with DIT, and encourage any company in this sector who’s in town at that time to register and attend.

The IBBC tech conference is also taking place in Baghdad on April 30th which will bring together leading companies in the tech sector in Iraq. Details on how to register can be found below.
