Dubai Investment Forum – British Centres for Business

Today I have attended the Dubai Investment Forum, hosted by Dubai FDI with approximately 300 other delegates.

Dubai Government departments such as RTA, DHA, DEWA & Dubai Municipality provided updates on their medium term plans through to 2021 and where opportunities for private sector investment & participation exist.

Dubai Municipality’s presentation was particularly fascinating talking about Dubai’s Smart City aspirations and what that will entail in terms of investment in renewables, waste management and the PPP projects that will be required to bring these to fruition.

As ever, Dubai is not short of interesting projects, but what is more interesting still is the innovative ways that these are being pursued, financed & delivered.
