Meraas to launch ‘The Dome Box’ in the Boxpark
Dubai-based Meraas Holding is set to launch ‘The Dome Box’, a dome theatre that will screen cinematic productions. The Dome Box will offer 360° viewing, along with a unique audio-visual experience. Scheduled to open in September 2015, the Dome Box will accommodate up to 80 visitors at a time.

Starwood to open four new mid-market Dubai hotels
Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has partnered with Dubai Properties to open four new hotels in Dubai under the group’s Element and Aloft brands. Scheduled to open in 2018, the hotels will add 816 rooms in Dubai, and is in line with the Dubai government’s focus on mid-scale hotel development ahead of Expo 2020.

MediaCom lands Magrabi Group brief
MediaCom has been named the agency of record for premium retailer the Magrabi Group across the Middle East and North Africa. The appointment will see MediaCom work alongside the group’s London and Dubai-based brand, creative and PR agencies to drive the company’s communications forward. The Magrabi Group is at the beginning of a major rebranding exercise, with MediaCom to help the company as it drives forward with a large scale expansion process.
