Sharjah Bans Energy Drinks in Food, Beverages 

Sharjah has reportedly banned restaurants from mixing energy drinks with food or other beverages. Food outlets have received notices warning them against using the high-caffeine drinks, highlighting the dangers to some customers, according to Arabic daily Al Ittihad, who quoted Sharjah assistant director general for public health Sheikha Rasha Al Qassimi.
