London bubble tea concept, Bubbleology, has opened its flagship store in Boxpark on Al Wasl Road, less than a year after its first location opened in Gloria Hotel, Dubai. With more than 20 different teas to choose from, Bubbleology’s best-selling drinks are passion-fruit, strawberries & cream and banoffee pie.

Jason Atherton’s Marina Social to open September 4

InterContinental Dubai Marina has confirmed that UK Michelin-starred chef Jason Atherton’s restaurants Marina Social and The Social Room will open on September 4, 2015. The restaurant, which will be Atherton’s first in the region, was originally meant to open in 2014, and later pushed to a late 2015 opening.

UAE’s Cravia to establish 30 new outlets by 2016

Cravia CEO Walid Hajj told Caterer Middle East in an exclusive interview that the company will establish another 30 new outlets, and will manage a portfolio of 100 venues of franchised and home-grown concepts by the end of 2016. In addition, it will also increase its existing work force of 1900 by another 100 before this year ends, and add another 300 in 2016.
