Residential Sales Slow in Dubai 

Dubai’s property market continued to dampen in the first half of 2015 as the strong dollar made purchases costlier, a new analysis showed. Bayut.com’s UAE Market Report for July said residential sales activity slowed in anticipation of additional units expected to enter the market over the next few months, stabilising prices.

WPP Wins Emirates Global Account

Emirates has appointed an interdisciplinary WPP team to handle its global branding and creative account. Team Air will bring together staff from Grey’s London and New York offices, Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R, Geometry Global, Hogarth and TNS. Chris Hunton will run Team Air. He was most recently the head of Team Land Rover at WPP. Land Rover moved its global digital and creative business to Spark44 in March.

Madinat Jumeirah to Bring Largest Hotel Event Area

Fort Island, set to open in October, spans 1,750 square meters and is intended to host banquets, parties, exhibitions, product launches, music concerts, weddings, sports events and festivals for up to 1,400 people.
