BCB’s March Newsletter: Expo ends…onwards to Qatar

31 Mar, 2022

Good Afternoon

As Expo 2020 Dubai draws to a successful close in the UAE, attention is inevitably shifting to the Gulf’s next mega-event and the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, starting in November.

With the ramp up of economic activity in Qatar, we have recently taken on our first staff there. You can read more about our local manager, Kathrin, here and also see her thoughts on the country’s burgeoning sports sector.

The Holy Month of Ramadan starts at the weekend so, for our contacts who aren’t in the region, please be reminded that the daily pattern of life & work does change and you should be aware of this when dealing with Muslim clients, colleagues or suppliers over the next month.

Best wishes, and Ramadan Kareem.

Regards
Joe
